Welcome to AnimeHub ("we," "our," or "us"). AnimeHub is an anime and manga tracking application designed to help anime enthusiasts discover, organize, and discuss their favorite series, release calendars, and character voice actors.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data, user privacy, and legal copyright disclaimers when you use our mobile application and related services.

2. Intellectual Property & Fair Use Disclaimer

Notice: AnimeHub is a non-commercial anime cataloging and tracking utility. We do not host, upload, store, or stream video media, full episodes, or full manga chapters on our servers.

All anime and manga images, promotional posters, character artwork, voice actor profiles, titles, synopses, and related media displayed within the app are the exclusive copyright and trademarks of their respective original authors, Japanese animation studios, publishers, and licensors (such as Shueisha, MAPPA, Toei Animation, Aniplex, Crunchyroll, etc.).

  • Data Source: All anime metadata, cover art, and airing schedules are dynamically fetched via public API integrations (such as AniList.co).
  • Fair Use: All media material is presented under Fair Use principles for descriptive, cataloging, educational, and news reporting purposes.
  • DMCA / Takedown Enquiries: If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that any content in the application infringes upon your copyright, please contact us immediately at elpadremedop@gmail.com. We will respond promptly to verify and remove infringing items within 48 hours.

3. Data We Collect & How We Use It

We respect your privacy and collect only the minimum data required to deliver core application functionality:

  • Local Application Storage: Your personal watchlist, favorite anime, custom tags, and application settings are stored locally on your device for fast offline access.
  • Community Discussions: When participating in community discussions, poll votes, or comments, an anonymous user identifier and your submitted text/votes are transmitted to our secure community server to display public discussions.
  • In-App Purchases: Subscription details (such as Monthly/Yearly Pro status) are handled entirely through official Google Play Billing APIs. We do not collect or store your credit card numbers or financial details.
  • No Analytics Tracking: We do not sell your personal information or track your browsing activity across third-party websites or ad networks.

Users participating in community discussions must abide by community safety guidelines. We strictly prohibit harassment, hate speech, explicit adult content, spam, or abusive language. We reserve the right to remove any community comments or suspend anonymous user tokens that violate these rules.

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

AnimeHub is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information through our community channels, please contact us for immediate removal.

7. Your Data Rights & Account Deletion Requests

Under GDPR and Google Play Developer Policies, you have full rights over your data:

  • You can clear all local watchlist data and history anytime inside the app by clearing the application cache/data in your device settings.
